Ingredients
- 1 jar Ozganics Rogan Josh Curry Simmer Sauce
- 450g ground beef or lamb
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if desired)
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Cooked basmati rice or naan bread (for serving)
Method
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic, ginger, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
o Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, pour in the jar of Ozganics Rogan Josh Curry Simmer Sauce.
Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
5. Serve the meatballs over cooked basmati rice or with naan bread. Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
