This tomato-glazed meatloaf gets a flavorful boost from Ozganics Tomato Sauce. The rich, organic tomatoes in the sauce add a delicious sweetness that perfectly complements the savory meatloaf, making it a hit for dinner.
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup Ozganics Tomato Sauce (plus extra for glazing)
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup of Ozganics Tomato Sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
4. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup Ozganics Tomato Sauce, mustard, and brown sugar. Spread this glaze over the meatloaf.
5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until cooked through.
6. Serve with mashed potatoes, vegetables or salad.
